Dynamo Moscow Bandy Club

Dynamo Moscow is a Russian sports club from Moscow which was founded in 1923. The bandy team plays in the new Krylatskoye Sports Complex in the outskirts of Moscow.[1] Krylatskoye is a high-tech closed indoor bandy and speed skating arena with world-class facilities. It has hosted both Bandy World Championships and World Speed Skating Championships. The club was a powerhouse of Russian bandy for decades. Eventually it declined and even was relegated to the second highest division. After it qualified for the highest division again at the end of of the 2004-2005 season, almost all players of the for a decade dominant Vodnik signed up for Dynamo Moscow, resulting in an immediate Russian League title in 2006. Dynamo Moscow won the World Cup for the first time in 2006, defeating Zorky in the final.
